For this episode of ELEVEN Asks You, ELEVEN Magazine seeks to gather opinions from Muslim youths in Singapore regarding Israel’s occupation of Palestine. This is in light of the recent attacks at Al-Aqsa Mosque, bombings in Gaza and the forced displacement of Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah.
We have interviewed four Singaporean Muslim youths to to hear what they think about this situation.
We hope to understand your perspectives and experiences, as a citizen of a country far from Palestine. We hope to bring awareness to Singaporeans about this and highlight the ways in which you can help despite being 8000 kilometres away from Palestine. We wish to emphasise the importance of your voice towards creating change, especially in this day and age of social media.
